I don't find William and Rhoda in the Shannon Co., MO census until 1870 but that doesn't mean he wasn't in MO before then just not in Shannon Co. In 1880 Census of Shannon Co. it indicates that William was born in SC both of his parents born in NC. Mary Jane (daughter) was born in 1853 in GA so I think there had to have been family there but Samuel was born 11-19-1854 in Wayne MO. I think that was Wayne Co. but I think that I remember hearing of a town called Wayne so it could just be a town. I mostly have the information that my mom-in-law gave me that a cousin of hers had written up for the family. I don't think there is much socializing within the family so I am pretty lucky to get what I did. You can e-mail me at iclark@vanburen.k12.mo.us if that would be easier, I always feel like I take up to much space in these boxes. Samuel Barton Yearwood was the only male in this family unless William was born in 1901 and might have been married before. I honestly don't know what to think anymore. Let me know.

Thanks a bunch,
Isabella
