I have been doing research on my wife's family line and have come across a note I made in an interview with Doyle Earwood (son of Starling- son of John Oliver, son of Perry, son of Andrew, a minor owning property in Warren, Co., GA in 1794) My notes say that Andrew's possible ancestors were Richard and James H. Yearwood, the first white settler in Carolina from Barbados. I don't know if this is fact or if it will be of help to you. I have lots of other information on the Yearwood family in Georgia, Mississippi and Louisianna, but it is pretty sketchy.
