Judd- My great-great-grandfather, Horace Burton Yearwood Had a brother named William Yearwood b. 12/24/1816. This William married Hannah P. Walis/Wallace 9/19/1837. He was killed in the Mexican War at Cerro-Gordo, Mexico, April 24,1847. He had enlisted with his brothers Thomas, and Horace Burton. Brother Thomas brought his body home to be buried in Athens cemetery, McMinn Co., TN at the wars' end. Horace Burton named a son William Cerro Gordo Yearwood to honor his brother. I have a lot of Yearwood information. Email me and I will email you the file. mahutch13@aol.com
