VA/NC/AL/GA Connection

Does anyone out there know if and how the Yearwoods from NC tie into AL. I have seen enough info to know that some NC Yearwoods did migrate to TN & GA but am somewhat suspicious of the AL group tying in also. My ancestor was Mary Yearwood who married Jacob Weist in 1794 in NC, she later married Samuel Rose of Macon Co. NC. Mary had lived in Rutherford County, NC with her 1st husband and her daughters Margaret & Elizabeth had moved with their husbands to Macon Co. NC. I assume she stayed with them for a time after Jacob's death and that is how she met Samuel Rose. Some of the ROSE family of NC moved to Limestone Co. AL. In 1827 there was an estate sale for Abner Strange and both a William Yearwood & Abner Rose purchased items at the sale. This seems likely to be one of those situations where persons who knew each other migrated to an area. Does anyone know how AL ties in?
