Mary,

I would enjoy sharing Yearwood information with you. I do have a Frederich Yearwood (1770-1821) in my files and show him as the brother of my ggg-grandfather William Yearwood, with other siblings as Nancy Yearwood (b. 1772), Sarah Yearwood, and Lucy Yearwood. However, I don't have other information about Frederick Yearwood or any of his descendants.

My mother is Grace Estelle Yearwood (1903-1981), born in Johnson County, AR. My gg-grandfather, Elijah Yearwood, moved to Johnson County, AR, about 1858/59 from Monroe County, TN. He had inherited a land grant, which he claimed in AR, that was earned by his half-brother, William Yearwood (1815-1847), who was killed Cerro Gordo, Mexico, in the Mexican War.

I have fairly good records on the descendants of William Yearwood (1778-1867). I will be glad to share.

Bill Hunt
Natchitoches, Louisiana
