While studying at Cambridge in 1975, I chanced on a listing of students maticulated at Cambridge colleges. It included a student from the Barbadoes in 1630-40. I can't remember the exact dates. I think his name was David Yearwood, but could be misremembering after all this time. In the UK you have a better shot at accessing this information than we do here in the states. Post a followup if you have a chance.
