Hi Larry,
I have a copy of Jeremiah J.'s marriage license to Mary M. (Mayfield) Boren. I know that her name is listed as Bosen on the Illinois marriage index, but it should be Boren, as she first married Samuel S. Boren on 10May1877 in Marion Co., IL. Anyway, I have the license for some reason (probably because it was a Yearwood--I think I copied them all when I was in Jeff.Co.)It says that Jeremiah J., a laborer from Mt. Vernon, will be 29 next birthday. Born in Cook Co., Texas (?-That's what it looks like). Son of Samuel R. Yearwood and Sarah Cash. This was his second marriage. Her full name given as Mary M. Boren, married name Mary M. Mayfield from Mt. Vernon. Age 35 at next birthday, born in Hamilton Co., IL. daughter of John Mayfield and Jane Poe. This was her second marriage also. The witnesses were Jane Cochran(sp?) and Minerva Haney. They were married by Police magistrate of Mt. Vernon, E. V. Satterfield.
I hope this helps--I don't remember how old your message was. You probably learned this stuff 5 years ago! If you would like me to send you a copy of the license, I would be happy to do so.
