I too am a descendent of the Yearwood/Earwood's of Georgia. My gg-grandfather was Starling Northcut Earwood born 1-1853(he dropped the "Y") He had a brother, John Oliver, who moved to Alabama. Their father was Archibald Yearwood, his father was Perry Yearwood, and his father was Andrew Yearwood from VA. Hope this helps, I do have quite a bit of information on this line, I'm sure your John & Jackson are somehow related and would like to find just where they fit.
