I'm looking for information on Mary Yearwood b. abt 1775. She married Jacob Weist in Rutherford Co. NC in 1792. They purchased land in the area of Wards Creek of First Little Broad River. This would be located in the NW quadrant of present day Cleveland Co. NC and not that far from Lincoln Co. They had these proven children Adam, Margaret, Catherine, Elizabeth, Nancy, and probably also a son named James. Mary lived until after Dec. 1859 with her will being written then and filed in the fall of 1860. I've had NO LUCK whatsoever in finding parents for her. Some folks have told me she could be an Earwood for there were more of them in this area, but her marriage banns have a definite Y at the beginning of her name. Any help greatly appreciated.
