I believed she belonged to Andrew as well until I reviewed the Census records. The 1850 Habersham Census gives her age as 28, indicating her birth year as 1822. Two reasons I have to believe she did not belong to Andrew are 1) he has no daughters under the age of 10 in 1830 Census, when she would have been 8 years old, and 2) he had a son, Lewis Allen born about 1822.

Of course, there could be inaccuracies with the 1830 or the 1850 Census. Do you have consistent ages from the Census records indicating Martha was born 1822? I have only seen her in the 1850 Census. I wonder if maybe Alexander was her father? Have you seen any info on him?

Thanks for the input! That's the only way we can get this right.
