the Loftin name in Taylor Yeilding's name

Dear cousins,
I wrote along time ago about Taylor's name. I thought that the Loftin might be a last name of his mother's or father's further down the line. I found this webpage, and hope you can open it. I will copy the part that I found interesting. Let me know what you think.

My father, Buster Sparkman Lofton, (b. 1917),(Lee Roy Lofton, Sparkman Bowen Loftin, RICHARD YEILDING LOFTIN...), met my mother, Eleanor Cuthbert, while on "shore leave" from the USN, during WW2. Mom was born and raised in Cambridge, Massachusetts, a city girl. Dad was from Early County, Georgia, a real farm boy.
