Just ran across your posting and maybe I can clarify the situation for you. Martin van Buren Yeilding was the son of Francis Yeilding and Elizabeth "Betsey" Earle(s) of Blount County, Alabama. He did marry Letty Elizabeth Cornelius and they had two children: Martin and another son whose name I can't remember at this time. Martin van Buren died, and Letty Elizabeth Cornelius Yeilding married William Youngblood. The two sons of Letty by Martin van Buren did not get along with their stepfather - at least one of them did not, so left home. Because I do not have my records with me at the moment, I cannot give you much more info; however, if you wish you can contact me and I can give you more on Martin van Buren Yeilding. I am also a descendant of Francis Yeilding and Betsey Earle(s) through their daughter (and sister of Martin van Buren), Permelia Elmyra Yeidling. Hope this helps clarify the situation.
