Hi cousins all!! My husband, A E Canant, is the YEILDING descendant, along with our 3 children and 4 grandchildren. I began doing genealogy in the 1960s when I went in the DAR and got addicted!!! Then, after a span of several years of just letting it all be, I got involved again about 7 years ago. After all of the years of wondering where the CANANT family came from (before AL), the internet opened doors for me. Then, along came the link with the YEILDING family, and even pictures of AE's great grandmother, Amanda Missouri YEILDING (courtesy of cousins Carl and Carolyn Ryder). I am very busy on my husband's BRYAN lines from Craven Co, NC, Allendale, SC and Screven Co and Johnson Co, GA and all the allied lines, so don't have much time for other things right now. Forums like this are a blessing to folks like me!
