My GGGrandfather was Richard Massey Yeilding, b 1800 on Glen Sherald Estate near Dublin, Ireland. He and his brother Agar (or Aygar) imigrated to Canada about 1820. In 1837 (approx) Richard M. moved to Batavia, NY (married Margaret Blake). Agar stayed in Canada, married and fathered 6 daughters (Williametta, Alexandra, Richardina, and Mary Massey and 2 unknown..as I am told) and 2 sons. I am told that Agar died in Canada.
Richard Massey and Margaret settled in Rice County, Kansas in 1875 where he opened a dry goods store in a just opened territory. Richard died 8/12/92 and Margaret died 1891. They are both buried in Chase Springdale Cemetary, Chase (Rice Co.), Kansas.
It seems likely that some of the yeilding/yielding's you listed are decendants of Agar Yeilding from Ireland.
