Yelvertons are found back as far as the 1100s in England. The problem is the period between 1695-1550. If you can find those links you'll certainly have quite a history.John, no doubt , was the first, but he married into the Blount family. You must remember there were not a lot of people in America in the 1600s.You have two historical names. You need to find that link between 1695-and about 1550.Later many became the Yelvingtons.Ernest
