Hi there, got some info on Yelverton O. Compton (what does the O. stand for?) and his wife Sarah Iles. Their daughter Emma is my gggrandmother. What I don't have is anything before Y.O.Compton or any of the Iles. Emma was married to James Franklin Bishop. Y.O.'s brother, Griffith Dickinson Compton was a Reverend, I think. Any idea where the "Yelverton" comes from? Any help would be appreciated. Judy
