Hi Jean,

I haven't been following my genealogy for more than a year, so I may not have everything at my fingertips on Yelverton and Sasser. However, John Yelverton and Indiana Sasser were my great grandparents. I have looked up Indiana's siblings, and could not find a name similar to Phereby. In fact, my information on her siblings is quite sketchy, and possibly erroneous. However, I'll give you what I have. Asa(?) Layfayette b.1831; Bullard/Edward B.1833; Leursa b.18??; Indiana April 10, b.1841 married John Yelverton Nov 19, 1860 and she died Nov 3, 1921; Julia b.1845 possibly married to Gurley; Mary B.1852 possibly married to Perry; Edwin B. b.1823; Charlotte possibly married to Ingraham. My birth dates came from 1850 and 1860 census, much of this information comes from my cousin's husband who had done extensive research.

I have been to the gravesites of her parents (in Goldsboro, NC), and I have pictures of Indiana (Sasser) and John Yelverton. If you would like, I could try to email them to you. Indiana and John had 12 children - my grandmother was one of them.

If I find anything on Phereby, I'll be back in touch. Jane
