Hi Deb. Seems we both have a bit of info regarding the Yelvertons. Thanks for your latest email - I will follow that up. Some of my info comes from the private cemetary and a few searches on IGI but there is an interesting 19 page history on the web by Turtle Bunbury regarding the Yelvertons. I imagine you already know about it but if not, here is the website, as printed on the bottom of the first page.
(yes, history/history_ is correct and not a typo). Been a bit busy and haven't been doing much Australian famhist for a while. Found a bit on my own family in England from 1911 census which has just been released I believe. My info came from someone who was given a free preview just before Christmas and used it to look up our grandparents marriage. We had thought they weren't married but they were - just before the birth of their 7th child! Why was that? I need to find out. Your email has given me the incentive to get back to the Aussie branch now. So far, they all seem to be respectable and to have have married first but I might find a convict yet!
