Ruliph Ostrum purchased Lot 8 conc 2 Sidney Twp, Hastings County, Ontario, Canada 20 July 1809 from the Crown 200 acres. He sold the property on 31 Dec 1809 to Owen P Roblin and the land transaction was registered 4 March 1815.Daniel Mathew Dean ( born 1775 United States) purchased 100 acres of this lot from Owen P Roblin on 15 Feb 1811. Owen P Roblin also sold 50 acres of the west part of the lot to Francis Vandervoort on 20 July 1811. This Francis Vandervoort was married to Hannah Acker, daughter of Adam Acker and Mary Brill of Brighton, Northumberland County, Ontario, Canada.
