I'm afraid I still have yet to discover a link between the early Yelverton's and our John. I did find this little tidbit on the Blount's. I think you know James Blount was the Deputy Lord Proprietor of the Albemarle Colony (in northeastern corner of NC). I think this Bible record is talking about his line. Dave
