I am also looking for Berks and Montgomery County Yergers to fill in some blanks. My Sarah (nee Dellecker) and Jacob Yerger may account for the "D" for the middle initial of your David D. Yerger. Pike Twp., Berks Co. is very close to the Montgomery County, line.

What I know and haven't been able to piece all together yet is:

Sarah B. Dallecker (b.7-9-1800 d. 11-12-1845) buried at Union Church Cemetery; Boyertown. Sarah m. Jacob Jorger [Yerger]....could be the Jacob in the obit below.

Jacob Yerger, an aged and well known citizen of Colebrookdale township, Berks Couny, died on Saturday last, near Gabelsville, aged 89 years, 9 months and 27 days. Deceased lived for many years on his large farm (which he still owned) near Pikeville, Pike Township adjoinging the farm of the late Dr. William Herbst.
