Ever since I was young, I too have been told of a ancestral connection to the Hope diamond, of which I found really hard to believe was true. But to my amazement I have since found some truth to that, in that which has been told of the Yohe connection which came out of the Bethleham area. My ancesters came out of the Allentown area but I also believe they were connected to them in the Bethleham area. There was a Hiram listed in a census that was in Allentown living with Jesse Yohe and Louisanna (Lucy).
Also there was a Manuel listed in the Bethleham area whom couldnt be found in Jesse Yohe`s house when he should have been
in 1860...
