Not sure anyone is still searching for Yongue ancestors. My name is Lynn Stevens and my Grandfather was Thomas Alexander Yongue. His father was William Alexander Yongue born Nov 4, 1847, Talladega Co, AL, died Oct 26, 1945 Nampa, Canyon Co, Idaho. His father was Samuel Henery Yongue, born 1802, Winnsboro, Fairfield County SS, died 1878 Talladega Co, AL. His father was Samuel Whorter Yongue born 1763 Maryland, died Nov 8, 1930 Fairfield Co, SC. I can go on and on. I have been researching this side of my family since 2006. I have documents and photos. Trying to get a copy of the book: "Alexander William Yongue and Mary Ann Ellison of Fairfield County, South Carolina and Marion County, Florida : with related families: Yongue--Ellison--Potts, Pickett--Henson--Boulware --Muscoe--Gray" by Susan Coleman. I have started my own book. If you want a copy, please let me know. I am willing to share. I also wrote and received a letter from Margie (Huff) Yongue. I regret that I have not written back but will send her a copy of my book also.
