Ron, thanks for your message. I'm descended from Jesse (King) Curry. In 1860 Jesse and his sister Mary were living with their brother Zora in Manatee County. I was hoping the Mary Curry who married William Youmans might have been Jesse's sister but I don't think the ages were right. She would have been born about 1845 or 1846. I believe there is a good chance they might be related though. I would be interested in any information you might have. Also, you mentioned your greatgrandmothers last name was Lanier. Do you know if she was related to Martha Lanier who was born in 1889 and married Gadson Curry (Jesse's son) in 1910 in Kissimmee Florida? Thanks. Any help would be appreciated.
