I have an Aaron Youmans (aka Orrin Yeoman) who said in the 1856 Iowa census that he was born in NY; however, his wife and daughter always recorded him as born in MI. I figure he must've lived in MI, or had some family there, for them to have placed him there.

Any info on a Youmans/Yeoman/etc. line in MI that he might've come from?

Thanks very much!
