You are trying to prove yourself kin to Vincent Youmans of musical fame! Probably all of us are wanting that. On other sites I have seen Daniel listed as descended from Dusenberre's. In the YEAMANS-yEOMANS-yOUMANS book there was a paragraph that said there was a Daniel Youmans who lived in Dutchess Co., NY, on the list of free-holders, Aug. 17, 1740. It doesn't say who he descended from. Good luck! Try Rootsweb.
