While researching recently in Belmont, NY, courthouse, I came across a will of Wm. Yeomans dated Nov. 10, 1905. It mentions his wife, Eliza and witnesses in Alfred, NY--W.P. Saunders and Charles Stillman. Also, son Lafayette, daughter Anna (from Ward) Russell, Lovina Trans (dau) Belmont, Wm. A Yeomans, son, and H. Barton, son, Ward. Just wondered if it might mean something since Lafayette is not a real common name.
