searching for my grandfather ? Yeomans/Youmans. My grandmother Elizabeth was either married to a Yeomans/Youmans or my mother and aunt were illegimate.
Elizabeth is shown on the 1900, Lowndes County, Georgia, Dasher District census as being married to William M. Swilley.
Elizabeth born 1865, self and parents born in GA.
Children listed(All spelled Yeomans)
Maggie(my aunt), Annie (my mother), Sallie, Wiley J., Rachel, Carie, Florence, Royel E.
All children listed as step children.
Was Elizabeth married to a Yeomans/Youmans or was she a Yeomans/Youmans and the children are illegimate?
