Dear Pat...
Have been working on my genealogy, and get to a dead end with the Younies. My grandmother on my mother's side was Jessie Anderson Younie, b. Brooklyn, NY 1882. Her father was James Younie, Jr., b. Brooklyn 1840. His father was James, Sr. b. Morayshire, Eng. 1809. His father was Andrew, Jr., b. Morayshire 1766. His father was Andrew, Sr. who was married to Jean Logie, but only presume he was b. in Morayshire also; have no b. date. Do you have any info that pertains to Andrew Younie, Sr., AND do you have any info. on his father, grd father etc.?? I do know that the Younies, as I understand it, were ONLY found in Scotland in the small section of Elgin, Speymouth, Moray.
Ken
