Hi Nikki!

I just found this old message you posted about the Zabels in Prairie du Chien. My Great-Great-Grandfather was Frederick W. Zabel. He had two wives, Wilhelmina Gaulke and Caroline Hass. Your family is from Caroline's marriage and mine is from Wilhelmina's.

I even have a picture of your Great-Great-Grandmother Lillie Wachter with Karl Wilhelm (William) Zabel and Minnie Schultz.

I would love to share information with you, we have several discrepancies that I would like to straighten out and a ton of stories.
