I may have some additional information that might help determine if we can connect more of our data.
1. my wife is a ZABEL. Her grandfather is William H. ZABEL (b. 28 Apr 1885 - d. 22 Aug 1956 in Minneapolis). William married (1) Ida GROSS in 1907 and (2) Mira D.
All threee died in Minneapolis and are buried in Hillside Cemetery.
2. William ZABEL had three kids:
Fredrick Otto 1908-1969 (my wife's father)
Anna Clara 1910-?
Margarethe E. 1914-?
3. We believe that William ZABEL's father married a woman named LUCKSINGER and that they may have lived in Washington Co., MN.
4. We now live in Afton, Washington Co., MN -- a bit of a coinidence perhaps.
But the fact that a local Afton cemetery has ZABEL's is interesting. There are also LUCKSINGER's here.
Does any of this seem to fit any of your ZABEL info?
