Trying to track down a great great grandmother. The name that pops up most is Sophia Dorthea ZABLE. On the appliction for pension of a civil war widoq she states that she was boen in Doelitz Prussia on September 24, 1833. The 1900 federal census shows she immigrated to the U.S. in 1858. Documest state her fathers names was Fred, possinly short for Friedrick. Some ducumentation existis to show she was married either when she came to the U.S. or very shortly after. One document shows that sshe had a child, Augusta Louisa ZABLE, on February 15, 1859. Then she married my great great grangfather October 12, 1860. He was John SOMMERVILLE. The wedding took place in Summit Wisconsin. The service was perform by a Rev MONTAGUE who was a Presbyterian minister. I have been looking for her early days, prior to marrying John and becoming one of my gg-grandmothers. Any help glady accepted.

Bob
