I am the daughter of Eugene Charles Gunther, who was the son of Hazel Zabel, Charley's daughter. She married Robert Charles Gunther. They lived in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Hazel's sister, Half sister, Nellie Wilhite lived in South Dakota, never had children . Known as the first women pilot of South Dakota. I met her when I was very small. She loved Pekinese dogs, and usd to have the propeller from her plane on the wall behind an over stuffed living room chair. My father mentioned how Pard ventured to take a cattle drive from South Dakota down to Texas for a very profitable sum, but the weather would not permit them to make the complete trip due to the snow storm recorded as the worst snow storm in the history of the decade. Most of the cattle froze to death along the way. I also knew he was a postman by horseback. I don't know much about his siblings. Thankyou for your reply ,I live in Albuquerque, New Mexico. with my husband, and four children.
Chery
