Hi Bonnie, Yes, you must be a relative.
"Pard" was my great-grandfather also.
His daughter Hazel Zabel Wilhite, married Robert Gunther. They had 2 daughters (Margaret & Lillian Gunther) and 2 sons (Eugene Charles and Emil Gunther)in Sheboygan, WI. Eugene Charles Gunther is my Father. Eugene Charles Gunther married Shirley Ann Wilke, both of Sheboygan, WI, had 9 children, 6 daughters and 3 sons, all still living. I have heard many stories about "Pard".
Emil Gunther had 3 children, Margaret had 3 children, Lillian had 5 children.
So you have many cousins.
I met Nellie Zabel Wilhite on several occassions in Sioux Falls, SD. I know she was the first licensed woman pilot of the state of SD and was very fond of Pekinese dogs. I live in Normal, IL now, but Emil Gunther still lives in Sheboygan,WI. and has a daughter living in Sun Prairie, WI.
My sisters and brothers live in the states of New Mexico, Colorado, and Arkansas.
What state do you live in?
