I am descended through 3 of Albert's sons (Joost, Jacob and Christian) in eight different ways. Though he had no issue, most interesting Zabriskie I know of is William Pell Zabriskie, my grandmother's (Elisabeth Oblenis Bogert) great uncle. He was a painter in the Hudson River School--I have one of his paintings as well as other artifacts of his life. My mother has several more paintings.
His sister, Leah Aletta Zabriskie, was my great great grandmother.
