George Zacharia was born January 15, 1786, married Susannah Sherman in August 15, 1815 in York Co., PA.
Susannah was the daughter of General Conrad Sherman (Scherman) - of the American Revolution / PA Militia. He was by 4th great grandfather. One of Susannah's brothers was Henry Sherman - my 3rd great grandfather.
The children I know of for George and Susannah Zacharias are:
Jacob Zacharias (1821 - 1899) married to Sarah (Sallie) A. Orndoff and they had four children. A second wife, Barbara -they had one son, William.
Also Conrad Zacharias married to Lydia.
I did not have the name Savilla Zacharias (born 1817) but I knew I didn't have all the children's names.
George Zacharias died June 07, 1826 - buried in Krider's Cemetery in Carroll Co., MD
Susannah Zacharias died February 05, 1852 - also buried in Krider's.
Jacob died August 09, 1899 in Union Mills.
His four children with Sarah were: James - born about 1853, Mary Susan - born 1857, Alice born Dec. 1859 and Cora about 1863.
Daniel Zacharias (Geo. Daniel's father) came to America in September 26, 1737 on ship "St. Andrew Galley".
One of George Daniel Zacharias' sisters was Eva Elizabeth Zacharias and married to George Everhart, Sr. of Carroll Co.
