BUT -- in 1880 -- Conrad S. Zacharias - age 62 living with his brother, Jacob Zacharias in Westminster.

~~~~~~~~~~~~
Then -- 1900 census -- also --
Bessie Zacharias - born Aug. 1880 in MD
Parents: James M. Zacharias - born Dec. 1853 & Jennie Laura - June 1859 (had one child)
              They married about 1879-1880 (lived in Uniontown, Carroll Co.)
              In 1870 - James M. - age 16 - lived in Westminster. His father - Jacob Zacharias - a widower - age 47 (born 1823 in MD)- farmer -- *** Jacob is more than likely the brother of Conrad S. Zacharias.***
       1860 census - Jacob - age 39, wife, Sarah age 31, James age 7. In Westminster, MD.
**************************
So, my conclusion is, first - Bessie M. Zacharias Germmroth Erdman, was not born in 1894 BUT rather closer to 1889. Second, I think her parents were Charles J. and Ella Zacharias. Bessie was married first to a fellow named "Germmroth" and who died sometime in mid- to late 1918 (Right during the height of the Spanish Flu).
Locating descendants of Howard Gilbert Germmroth and Gordon L. Germmroth may offer more information on their mother and her family.
