I have just started my research for my grandmother’s lineage on my mother’s side of the family and this is what I have thus far.
Clara M Zacharias 15 Nov 1886 Virginia, was my grandmothers (Dorothy Beatrice Palmer) mother.
Clara married 27 Aug 1914 to "George W Palmer" who is listed living with the Zacharias’s as a boarder in the 1910 census.
Their daughter Dorothy married "Harold Louis Schmidt" who's daughter Marie is my mother.
I am trying to gather as much information as possible as to where Gustav Theodore Zacharias and Albertina came from. Do you know what ship they arrived on? What town in Saxony they came from? Also, if you have any additional information on Clara, that would be great. Some additional information I have, that you be interested in.
Gustav Theodore Zacharias, born 9 Jul 1833
Albertina Wilhelmine Shultz, born 7 Nov 1838
The pastor who married them was Paul Beyer
I have the Zacharias family bible.
