What I know about John is that he was a Merchant Marine and he married Virgie Davis in Virginia. For some reason, not to state here, the two split up. Virgie did not turn him in (he had a green card). Apparently he kept trying to contact her and she finally turned him in to immigration. He was deported. He is listed as Greek, but also as an Egytian National. The deportation supposedly happened about January 1959.

Virgie obtained a divorce several years later and remarried.

The divorce was granted in Nevada.

The interesting part is that Virgie had a child in 1959, and thought the child was premature. I found a way to check the medical records, and they state that the baby was at LEAST 8 months. Everyone thought the child to be 7 weeks early. So despite claims of the family, it appears that the child might be John's. The child was put up for adoption and there was an attempt by the system to contact Virgie so John could sign the papers. Her mother stopped the message from getting to her.

As you have probably guessed; I am that child. With both of my children, there have been some mild medical issues which finally prompted the pediatrician to ask if I had any Mediterrean blood lines. So the search is on. Please contact me with any other information you may have located. I am at a dead end with this.
