Thank you for your reply. I have located a film number from the LDS and in searching thru found a line item giving the death of my great grandfather, Samuel Zacharias. It is written in German and took place in Schople, Volyhnia Poland in May of 1873. Another column shows his birth place as "Col.Golas (? u a i b o w ) Gouy. Petrikau". He died at age 50. Can you further clarify this for me? Also, I would greatly appreciate the address. Sincerely, Elaine Asmus of Saginaw, Michigan.
