Linda, Thank you so much for your reply. No, this is not the "old Lytton Springs Cemetery." It is the Misenheimer Cemetery located off FM 2001, between Niederwald and Lockhart, in Caldwell County, Texas. In State records it is shown as being the Cardwell Cemetery. Misenheimer is the original name. There are three cemeteries in proximity to Lytton Springs. One of them is the "old" cemetery and it is located across from the store. One is the Lytton Springs Cemetery, and the third is Bunton Cemetery, which most people refer to as being at Dale. (It is closer to Dale than it is to Lytton Springs.) William L. Zachary is buried in Misenheimer Cemetery. His stone is off the base, but it is otherwise not broken. Many of those old stones are off the base, and it appears the adhesive used to place the monument on the base just gave way. The cemetery was so overgrown with trees, stickery vines, and weeds that it was impassable for the most part, so don't think there has been vandalism there. My info is that William Lovell was the son of Willis Fields Zachary and Elizabeth Dugan. I do show that he had at least two sons, Walter R. and Henry Jackson. I would be delighted to have good copies of his picture and anything else you can provide. Feel free to email me directly at bjrb at hotmail.com (interpret, please). Thank you again. I really appreciate your help. Betty Notify Administrator about this message?
