Are you Barbara Waddell of Washington Co., AL? Do you remember me from the Pascagoula Library? I just found your message on Peter Zachery.
He is my husband's ancestor. He married Mary Burton and was the son of John Zachry & Elizabeth Hannah Blackstone (1695-1764). John Zachry was the son of Daniel Zachry b 1667, and Elizabeth Lloyd 1676/77-1704. The father of Elizabeth Lloyd was Thomas Lloyd (1640-1694 and mother was Mary Jones. They are the ancestors who came to America.
I have this line (through the Quaker Thomas Lloyd,)all the way back to Edward I, King of England and Marguerite, Princess of France.
Peter and Mary's daughter Susannah Zachery (1770-1815) married Thomas Watson (1764-1834). Their daughter Rebecca Watson married Joel Duke (Conecuh & Monroe Co).
Their son, Albert Grant Duke, b 1822, married Rebecca Nash (Monroe Co, AL)
