My grandmother's last name was Zachmann and her family was from Remchingen (Wilferdingen) and Pforzheim. I believe I posted a note to this forum 7-8 years ago - see a few familiar names.
I recently commissioned (to the tune of $400) an artist to re-draw a photo of an old Zachmann crest for those Zachmann's from this part of Germany.
If anyone is interested in ..ahem.. helping me defray this cost, I will burn the file to CD for you.
In addition, I have an extensive family tree for this Zachmann line - going back to the late 1400's. Happy to share that for anyone doing research. I am not an active researcher myself - the family tree was done by an uncle of mine.
