I do not know the nationality of the surname Zachry; but, I am pretty sure of the following although it has not been certified to my knowledge:
James Smiley Zachry married Margaret Henrietta Wallace.
One of their many children was Jesse Bering Zachry who married Mattie Salina Moore.
Jesse's and Mattie's child, Alonza Bering Zachry, 1881-1960, married Stella Weldon.
One of Alonza's and Stella's children was Jesse Wallace Zachry, 1906-1969.
I am a descendant of James Smiley Zachry and Margaret Henrietta Wallace by their daughter, Pearl Zachry who was my grandmother.
