Margaret,
My father was Houston Earl Zachry Stough,
He was the youngest son of Alonza Berring Zachry and Stella Weldon. He was one of five children that they had.
His brothers and sisters were: Jesse Wallace Zachry, James Harrison Zachry, Mable Millicent, Ethel,(aka Boots), and then my Father.
My Father went to live with and was eventually adopted by an aunt and uncle after Stella died. My Fathers adopted parents were: Ellen Henrietta Zachry and Samuel Houston Stough. These were the grandparents that I knew.
Ellen did a very extensive search of the Zachry Family and I have all of her writings. She died in 1987 and is buried next to Stella and several other Zachrys in the Notasulga, Al Cemetery.
If this is the family that you are looking for then we would be first cousins.
