No problem Richard, I am actually more comfortable with English. There is a possibility we might have some ancestry in common. My grandfather was Damaso and my grandmother was Virginia.Their children were as mentioned in my previous posting.I only know of one of Damaso's brothers (Juan, 1884-1972) who died in Caguas, P.R.Damaso died relatively young in Coamo and his kids were adopted by other family members, two ending up in Manhattan, probably in the 1930's or 40's.My aunt Porfiria still lives in N.Y. and her children are Lydia, Minerva, Papo, and the oldest girl whose name I don't recall at this time.Granpa's brother Juan had daughters Nereida, Graciela, Zoveida, and Titi Can.I know there were three distinct Zambrana families in Coamo that were somehow related but characteristically different.I'm sorry I can't provide a better description, but here goes;the Zambranas who lived in the town of Coamo (Pepe, Felipe, and a female whose name I don't recall, were "triguenitos" and appeared to have more Indian blood. The ones who lived in Las Flores were red headed and had freckles. My family who lived in Las Flores, Rio Jueyes, and Caguas were white with black hair and some with blue eyes.Maybe you can come up with some more information and whatever I find out I will post it.Good luck on your quest.
