Thank you, Clarence.I really wish a lot more people would take your advise!I have been fighting false information that has been passed round and round on Robert Zane for over 30 years! The material I have is from actual primary records such as copies of the Quintipartite Deed made in England and signed by William Penn, Gawen Lawry, William Bates, Edward Byllinge (I think modern Billings), Robert Turner AND Robert Zane; also NJ Colonial records where Robert was a member of the West Jersey Assembly; records where the first Quaker meetings in Salem, NJ were held in his house prior to the building of the meeting house; the record of his son, Nathaniel's birth in Dublin Quaker Records and recorded at the time of the birth. Also, Robert's baptismal record in Yarcombe, Devonshire, England.Solid enough references?I appreciate your warning.Keep sending those out.I am sick of reading that Robert Zane was of Danish descent! The Zane family dates back to the 1400's in England and have very strong info that they most likely came from Venice to England about that time.
