I'm afraid not, Ronald. Even though you'll find many similar names, my branch of the Zane family is not the same as yours. Yes, we're both descended from Robert the Immigrant and his son, Nathaniel; however, my branch comes from William, who moved to Virginia. My grandfather, Arthur, and his half brother, Francis, were both born in Illinois--Francis in 1876, Arthur in 1885. They are both great great grandsons of Isaac Zane, brother of Wheeling WV founder Ebenezer Zane. We do have some similarities, though. We both had a relative named Gordon (mine was my father's eldest brother), and we're both from the Inland Empire--I was born and raised in Colton.
