I have Elizabeth Zane as an ancestor. She was born abt. 1776 in Burlington Co., New Jersey. She married Joseph French abt. 1797 in Burlington Co., New Jersey, probably at the Chester Twp., MH. They farmed at West Moorestown. They went on to have 8 children. The in-laws include: Clunn, Scattergood, Haines, Wilkins, Bird.

I have never been able to find the parents for Elizabeth Zane. Could Zane be a married name? She was 21 when she married French. That was fairly old in those days.
