The Wyandots were originally in upper Ohio and in 1855, under treaty, went to Missouri. They did not like the land in MO, so bought the are of Kansas City,KS from the Delaware. By the time the tribe went to Kansas, most of them were more white than Indian, but they remained together as an Indian tribe.
